New training professions
In autumn 2021, Frei added two more attractive professions to the range on offer to the region’s youth.
Interested youngsters can now also train as a metal technician specialising in assembly technology. “It’s an apprenticeship that’s ideal for young people with manual dexterity who are good at assembling things”, says Nadine Burkart, HR Manager at Frei. The fact that trainees are promised “exciting career prospects” beyond their training period is probably also a significant advantage, as Daniel Speidel of Frei’s executive management comments, because “Power Supplies” and “Control Elements for Mobile Machines” are two rapidly expanding business areas available with a constantly growing need for highly qualified specialists in-house.
