This is a microprocessor-controlled operator terminal for setting all the parameters on a machine. The parameters are entered via a 26-key keypad featuring tactile and acoustic feedback. An LCD graphics module is used to display the parameters and you can adjust the contrast externally. The device communicates with a higher-level machine control system. It includes a servicing and programming interface, which is accessible from the outside. An acoustic signalling device confirms when a key has been pressed and is used to signal error states. The plastic housing is made from ABS and features injection-moulded threaded bushes to enable quick and easy mounting on the machine.
